National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies |
The National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies (NCLEES) is an organization that represents Irish American Law Enforcement Organizations from across the Country. NCLEES is the sole sponsor the Memorial March which is held annually on May 14 Police Week in Washington D.C. The NCLEES Memorial March is the largest event held at the National Law Enforcement Memorial during Police Week.
As an all volunteer non-profit our annual budget is limited. This year will mark our 32nd annual sponsorship of this event and costs increase every year. It currently costs the NCLEES over $7,000.00 to host the Memorial March. We are quickly approaching the limit of what we can spend to host the Memorial March and remain fiscally responsible to our members We are therefore requesting donations from other organizations and individuals. Although NCLEES represents Irish American Law Enforcement Officers, the Memorial March represents all Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, past and present regardless of ethnicity or religion.
The Memorial March consists of as many as 40-50 Pipe Bands and Honor Guards from across the nation culminating with Memorial speakers at the National Law Enforcement Memorial. All donations are use to help us continue this honorable event for our fallen “Blue Heroes”.
NCLEES is a 501(c)4 non-profit charitable organization. Your donation may be tax deductible.
